LA County PMRT Mental Health Mobile Crisis Response Team

PMRT provides mobile crisis response for clients experiencing a psychiatric emergency. The LACDMH clinicians perform evaluations for individuals at risk of harming themselves or others.

Personal Safety Plan

Have a step-by-step plan ready for if/when you feel depressed, suicidal, or in crisis, so you can start at step one and continue through the steps until you feel safe. Having a template on hand with an established plan may be helpful, or you can get help and guidance at mysafetyplan.org/.

Help Someone in Need

The end of a relationship. Loss of a job. Housing instability. Feeling a loss of purpose. At some point, everyone will face a challenge. Some of those challenges may develop into a crisis. Recognizing a crisis in yourself or those you care about can help you know when to find support.

Utilize the Safety Assessment model to connect and assess the immediate safety of people seeking support, listen to and clarify a person’s story, collaboratively develop a plan for safety, and offer follow-up as needed.
